Originally from Belgium, I moved to the UK in 2008 after meeting my now husband. I quickly fell in love with the Peak District and Yorkshire’s homely customs and traditions. We soon settled in Wharncliffe Side and expanded our family with a wonderful but very hairy golden retriever and 2 amazing girls who keep us on our toes. Not long after moving, I realised I had unfinished business with the economy studies I started in Belgium, so I signed up with ACCA and, with a dictionary and the ACCA books in the sofa, spent my evenings studying. 

The years soon went by and I accumulated experience in accountancy roles both in industry and in practice. In August 2024 I felt ready to make the leap and start my own business. I feel my haphazard way of getting here has given me a very useful and varied skill set in the finance world, as I can combine accountancy, with export and language skills, but my true calling is a desire to help people find their way in the business world.
